Customer Rep for Projects

A customer rep, hired by the customer, is the point person between the contractors and the key decision makers for the customer. The coordination of tasks, as they relate to a project, is one of the main reasons the customer rep is on site. Coordination of resources to successfully complete the project, both on time and on budget, along with maintaining clear communications between all parties involved is the responsibility of the Customer Rep. If you require more technical support, you will want to hire a rep with the knowledge of your industry.

One key benefit to having a Customer Rep for your project is that your staff can spend more of their time focusing on their department responsibilities and still provide direction and support for the work being performed. It is best to engage your customer rep in the planning phase, and continue utilizing them all the way to the final commissioning and punch list completion.

I have been a customer rep for projects in K-12 Schools, Retirement/nursing facilities, Glass Container manufacturing, Mega Churches, Building Construction and Processing plants.  My experience in Commissioning, Maintenance, Construction and Facility Management has given me time on both the customer and contractor sides. I do understand the customer and contractor positions,  which has provided me the skills and knowledge to bridge the gap that can occur during a project.
